English breakfast in Punta Arenas Chile

The first time I had a British breakfast was at the Wake Up Restaurant, which is located in the city of Punta Arenas, in the Magallanes Region. I was on vacation/honeymoon with my husband in Chilean Patagonia. It was the beginning of our trip, so we started to explore the city a little. On the walk we got hungry, we came across the aforementioned restaurant and decided to eat there. We didn't know the address beforehand, but a friend of my husband's had told him some time ago that it was a recommendable place. Despite the long line, we managed to find a good table.

Until that day I had never eaten a breakfast like that. In movies and series I saw that dish and thought it was not appetizing. However, something prompted me to order it when I saw it in the letter. My body was probably asking me to eat a lot of calories due to the cold and intense wind of the Patagonian summer.

It was a huge plate with bread, fried eggs, bacon, beans and tomato. It was fantastic from the first bite. Heating, music and good company were other good companions to this wonderful breakfast. I finished eating completely satisfied and thinking that another day I could repeat the experience...
